HOW HANGOVERS CAN BE CURED

1. HONEY

Honey is one of the easiest items to find in your kitchen. This sweet condiment is packed with fructose and can help relieve even the worst of headaches. It has the power to neutralize the effects of alcohol, relieving you from the discomforts of a hangover. The fructose present in honey fights the metabolism of alcohol. Honey also helps with the digestion of alcohol inside your body. You can mix one whole spoonful of honey to get rid of alcohol from your body into a cup of tea or add some honey to a piece of toast to soak up the alcohol from your system.

2. CAYENNE PEPPER

One of the best ways to relieve your hangover is to detoxify your body to get rid of the toxins. Cayenne peppers are one way you can initiate this detoxification. Consuming spicy food will make you sweat and help you remove the alcohol from your body. The sweat your body releases is full of alcohol toxins. Get some milk or yogurt to have nearby to save your mouth from the heat, and use this at-home healthy hangover solution to get rid of your hangover when on 8-week body transformation program.

3. EGGS

Eggs are one of the most popular breakfast options around the globe and definitely inside my 8-week weight loss program so we are excited to announce these can help your hangover after a big night out! The reason why eggs help you with your hangover is that they are rich in amino acid cysteine. This component in eggs is responsible for breaking down acetaldehyde in your body, which causes hangovers.

4. LEMON WATER

Your liver goes into overdrive to work hard on ridding your body of the toxins found in alcohol. It begins working on this detoxification process the moment you begin drinking. However, to speed up this process, you can drink lemon water. Lemon helps your liver perform more efficiently and helps remove toxins from your body with greater efficiency. Do yourself a favour and before you head out, squeeze a lemon in a glass of water and set it on the counter or place it in the fridge for later. Lemons are rich in vitamin C, which helps improve liver function and tissue generation.

5. TOMATO JUICE

Maybe not as tasty or sweet as orange juice, but a drink you should consider the next morning after a big night when you are hungover. Tomatoes contain vital nutrients that can help curb your hangover symptoms. Tomato juice does a great job of revitalizing your body and it also improves liver function. With some tomato juice in your system, your body can work faster to remove toxins and make you feel better.

6. COCONUT WATER

Something so simple, but so often overlooked is increasing your hydration when you are hungover. Coconut water is rich in electrolytes and potassium; which aids in replenishing your body fluids quickly. Coconut water is one of the best ways to stay hydrated and can be the solution to your hangover. This option tastes more appealing than water and works well to remove your headache!

These 6 at-home healthy hangover remedies are the best way to treat a hangover healthily.

Try one of these easy options the next time you face symptoms of a hangover and you will notice the difference.

DUNNEBELLS 8-WEEK BODY TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM + ALCOHOL

One more thing that makes Dunnebells different than any other weight loss program out there is we don’t ban alcohol to get results. We are humans and we like to celebrate so what sort of life would I be creating for my clients if I took alcohol away? Sure, we may discuss limiting the amounts if it is having an impact on things like sleep, mood, energy and weight-loss but that doesn’t mean going cold turkey and never having a drink again.
