Today is my 28th birthday, last year I shared the 27 things I learned in 27 years.

  1. I was born to change lives. This is my calling. I truly believe that.

  2. One of the most important things is being well-loved by my family and friends.

  3. Joining the 5 am club sets me up for an amazing day ahead.

  4. Meditation is a practice, that evolves every single day.

  5. When things feel forced or really sticky, it is time to pivot.

  6. No matter how tired I am, I now know I will never miss brushing my teeth before bed.

  7. Coconut milk is delicious.

  8. Expressing my needs verbally is important, and it is okay.

  9. Talking about eating disorders and mental health is uncomfortable yet healing.

  10. Buying yourself a better bed, is worth every cent.

  11. You really are what you eat.

  12. Being an online figure means ignoring the mean comments and not letting them bring you down.

  13. I am worthy.

  14. I am enough.

  15. I am beautiful. Inside and out.

  16. Stretching helps muscle recovery. Do it!

  17. Deep breaths calm my nervous system.

  18. Time away from tech and the screen refreshes me.

  19. Planning a wedding doesn’t have to be stressful.

  20. I have a strange obsession with thick fuzzy socks.

  21. Going to the movies is one of my favourite things to do.

  22. You can acquire a taste for spicy food.

  23. I am not sure if you can acquire a taste for wine.

  24. Forever learning. I believe if you are not learning, you are dead.

  25. The expectations I put on myself are ridiculously high.

  26. A good pair of shoes are essential.

  27. Hangovers definitely last longer when you pass 25.

  28. I am impressed that you made it this far down the list. Whoever you are, I love you.
