How Kaila transformed her body in 8-weeks with Dunnebells!

Kaila was good at walking her dog for 30 minutes each day but noticed that hitting the gym wasn’t something she was able to be consistent with over the past year or so.

Before starting her 8 week weight loss training program Kaila said “I have just lost all motivation for fitness and I need a good kick.  I want to have a better relationship with food, and be able to enjoy what I am eating and not feel guilty for it later.”

Following the Dunnebell 8 week weight loss workout program and macronutrient program inside the best personal trainer app, Kaila began to find a routine she was enjoying and could stick to. Kaila made room in her life to regularly take care of herself not just in the gym, but with meals and healthy snacks.

Kaila admits that there have been parts of her journey that have not been easy, but with her mindset changes and adapting to her new healthy lifestyle she knows that this has changed her life forever.

EXERCISES FOR KNEE PAIN

When Kaila first reached out about joining the 8-week weight loss program her message said "I am wondering if you customize the workouts? I have super bad knees (no cartilage in one) so things like lunges and squats are pretty painful”.

When it comes to knee pain (as long as you are cleared by the Doctor) the best thing you can do is strengthen the muscles that support your knee. The key to this is to start slowly and build up over time. This is exactly what we did with Kaila and the things she can now do with her knees is incredible.

Kaila has seen great improvements when it comes to her knees and is even completing additional mobility and flexibility work that has been added to her 8-week weight loss program! Kaila has levelled up in so many ways and is excited for what is to come.

One of Kaila’s next goals is to get herself some heavier weights to use at home. She has noticed that a lot of the moves she is completing are no longer as challenging, just another milestone for Kaila to celebrate!

At Dunnebells we know that our clients are so much more than workouts and crushing macros. Kaila has so many fantastic qualities and skills including making and decorating cookies. Kaila also does drag for charity. She is part of an LGBTQ+ organization called the Imperial Sovereign Court of the Chinook Arch (ISCCA) and they raise money for local charities by putting on drag shows. How cool is that?!
