Let us have a look at the some tried and tested fat loss tips for busy entrepreneurs:

1. Make A Plan That Fits the busy entrepreneur life.

Well, this first move towards a healthy lifestyle is the most important. Create a food plan that doesn’t suck, make it something that you can stick to. Don’t create plans that are not sustainable and you can’t continue for long. Analyse your personal roadblocks and take a practical approach to your plan. Remember, no diet can work without commitment. Thus, pick a sustainable program that suits your schedule. Something like flexible macronutrient based plans are great because they are sustainable. You can eat out at those business lunches without feeling like you are breaking your plan. In all Dunnebells programs, you will be shown how to follow a flexible plan while achieving your results.

2. Schedule In Meetings At Restaurants.

Today, entrepreneurs and other busy professionals are already time-trapped with only a little time for yourselves. This doesn’t leave you with any time to cook a healthy meal. Thus, schedule your office meetings in restaurants and order something that has a good source of protein, carbohydrates and a healthy fat. Skipping meals and forgetting to eat will never work in your favour in the long run.

3. Busy entrepreneurs should lift weights.

Getting fit need not take that much of your time. You can stay healthy and fit even by lifting 2-3 time a week. Remember, fitness is only a part of our lifestyle.  There is more to it than going to the gym and counting calories. Make the most of your time by lifting heavy weights and using these other tips to achieve your workout when you are in a hurry.

4. Entrepreneurs who Batch Cook/Prep.

We understand your schedule is too busy and thus, it is always a good idea to batch cook or prepare nutritious and healthy snacks for yourself. This will not only help in fat loss but will also help build a healthy habit in you rather than munching on anything random coming your away. You wouldn't get in your car if it didn't have any fuel in it right? Don't allow yourself to head into that important meeting running on empty or grabbing a quick sugar-filled snack spiking your blood glucose levels and expect things to go well.

5. Avoid Liquid Calories.

Liquid calories can add up quickly. Often when I speak to clients before we work together I hear "I don't get it. I am watching my calories, working out and my weight won't budge". The problem here, they are often only watching the calories they ate - ignoring the calories consumed by liquid. If you were to drop that lunchtime soda, you could lose about 15 lbs / 7 kgs in a year's time. Avoiding soda, sweetened teas, and specialty coffee drinks as is a healthy tip as liquid drinks are filled with artificial sweeteners and citric acid. As a result, it increases the chances of diabetes, heart diseases, tooth decay, etc.

6. Busy entrepreneurs sometimes need to eat late.

Eating late is OKAY! A common fitness myth exists that eating late is not okay but it is important to understand that skipping meals is even worse. Eating late is okay, especially if you are hungry and not just late night boredom eating. If you strive to eat at regular intervals and avoid the massive hunger strikes that can lead to overeating this is ideal. Keep your metabolism working by eating 3 meals per day and snacking between meals.
