Your new favourite smoothie contains simple ingredients like banana, spinach, zucchini, and avocado. I have added some questionable things into my morning smoothies so I understand your concern, but trust me when I say you may be pleasantly surprised to know that veggies can add a bright vibrant rainbow of nutrients into your body without you even noticing!

So you want to boost your health and wellness? Well, plants! Vegetables! Vegetables will help you boost the antioxidants in the body and will allow you to age gracefully. Another benefit of vegetables? They contain a large amount of fibre, aiding in digestion. Be careful of the sugars that add up when using fruit and juices in your smoothies and instead try adding in some vegetables!


Makes 2 smoothies.


1.5 cup of water

1/4 cup blueberries

1 cup spinach

1 zucchini

1/2 avocado

1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

1 tsp maple syrup

1 tbsp Hemp Hearts (optional)


Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender. We love our Blendtec.

Once desired consistency is reached, pour into a hipster jar and top with hemp hearts or almond butter. Enjoy!
