Ready to beat that unwanted belly fat away once and for all?

You know the drill, eat healthily and exercise. But, maybe you have been doing this for a while and now you are sitting there wondering WHY your stomach is not feeling more toned and WHY no matter how hard you try, that stubborn fat is just not going away!

You are probably reading this article because you are looking for a solution, so while there are MANY reasons that contribute to belly fat and there are MANY things we can do to rid the belly fat I am going to provide you some things to try so that you can see some changes!

Eat fat to lose fat.

I know. Sounds silly. This is one of the HARDEST for women to come to terms with because we have this fear of high-fat foods ingrained into our brains which in my opinion comes from celebrities and the marketing of the food industries. In short, increase the amount of nuts, avocados, and foods rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and see what changes!  

Netflix n' chill

It is important that you learn how to relax! Take some tips from my post here about what snacks to pair with your Netflix watching and get on board with the best tip out there to help reduce belly fat #amiright? Why? When you are feeling stressed, you are keeping the hormone cortisol at high levels, inhibiting fat-burn and propelling you to the cookie jar for a sugar fix. Double killer! 

Cut the crap! 

Don't worry. This isn't where this post turns into ALL the other ones out there telling you to eat clean. Hell no. I love snacks. I love foods that are not so nutrient dense (Oreos, french fries, cake etc.) so I am not saying that you should stop eating those delicious treats! What I will say is refined grains such as white bread, crackers, chips, sugary drinks, and desserts increase inflammation in our bodies which in turn may hinder our ability to LOSE that last bit of belly fat.
